Silsden is a town in West Yorkshire, between Skipton, Ilkley and Keighley, with the River Aire and the Leeds-Liverpool Canal running through it. Mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book as “Siglesdene”, it was once considered the most important village in Craven. Silsden now falls in the Craven ward of Bradford Council, and also has its own Town Council.
Our local MP is Robbie Moore, MP for Keighley & Ilkley. Robbie was elected for the Conservative Party at the 2019 election. You can find contact information on his website at robbiemoore.org.uk
Silsden’s representatives on Bradford Council are Owen Goodall, Adrian Naylor and Rebecca Whitaker. They are the ward councillors for Craven. You can find their contact information on the Bradford Council website.
