Silsden Coronavirus Information

Silsden Chatterbox

If you or someone you know would like to be connected with a local volunteer for a regular phone call, we are here to help!

Silsden volunteers are working hard during the national lockdown to help combat isolation and loneliness among the town’s residents.

The ‘Chatterbox’ telephone befriending service – a venture that proved very successful earlier in the Covid crisis – is being run by Silsden Emergency Planning Group.

You can call 01535 400150 – you will be asked to leave your name and telephone number and then one of our volunteers will call you back (usually the same day or the next day).

We are here with a friendly voice and a listening ear on the other end of a phone!
