The first snow of 2020 has arrived in Silsden, bringing some minor travel disruption.
Silsden’s primary school sites are both open as normal, though other nearby schools attended by pupils from Silsden – including in Addingham, Ilkley and Keighley – are delaying morning registration to allow children more time to get there.

South Craven School was not due to open to pupils today anyway as it is a training day for staff following the half term holidays.
Some bus services further afield are affected too, and there are reports of tricky driving conditions on the A6034 Bolton Road north of Silsden at Cringles.
