Silsden Player/Manager Danny Forrest told OnThePitch WestYorkshire: “It’s been a good week for us. We were a bit down in the dumps following last Saturday’s performance and result against Knaresborough. But the reaction we’ve had since then has been top draw. Two wins, back to back clean sheets and performance levels much better than recent weeks. We attacked with pace and quality especially in the second half, whilst defending with desire and determination. It was a real team effort and it was very pleasing.”

This weekend’s victory came as the club announced plans to expand the ground facilities at the Cobbydale Construction Stadium on Keighley Road, with a new 100-seat stand, hospitality unit, ticket office and standing terracing. If approved by the council’s planning department, the development will be completed over the summer.
